  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 stick cold butter (1/2 cup), sliced in cubes
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 raw egg
  • 1/4 cup ice water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 fresh egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp fresh milk

Instructions

  1. Heat cooking oil in a pan, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add ground chicken and cook until golden brown, then mix in carrots and potatoes.
  3. Add green peas, raisins, soy sauce, salt, and pepper; simmer until vegetables are tender.
  4. Set filling aside to cool.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (175°C).
  6. In a bowl, mix flour and salt, blend in butter until the mixture resembles small peas.
  7. Whisk together vinegar, egg, and cold water; add to flour, knead into a dough.
  8. Chill dough for one hour.
  9. Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness, cut circles, and fill each with chicken filling.
  10. Fold dough, sealing edges with a fork, and place on a baking tray lined with parchment.
  11. Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
